With my background in graphic & website design, I know that the right photo can make a massive difference. That was one of the reasons I decided to get behind the camera and channel my creativity into creating the type of images that I always looked for as a designer, ones that make a real statement.
Unlike other photographers, I aim not to pigeonhole myself to one specific genre of photography, rather I prefer to challenge myself to take the best photos possible whatever the subject or situation. This, combined with my laid-back easy-going personality, allows me to really focus (pun intended..sorry) on getting the best results on the shoot and then using my extensive editing experience to really bring the photos to life in post production.
Scroll down for a selection of photos from my portfolio, and if you’ve got a project in mind feel free to get in touch, being as specific as possible and I'll do my best to get back to you as soon as I can.
Being an experienced gigging musician myself, I know what I'm looking for in a great live music photo.
Getting the right angles and capturing the real passion of the artist is something I take very seriously in my gig photography. Having the responsibility of making my own art while someone else performs theres is one of the best mediums of creativity I can think of. So wheather you are looking for someone to shoot a gig, festival or concert, or a staged photoshoot for yourself or band, get in touch and I'm sure we can work together on something special.
Capturing high performance racing cars as they scream around a track is a great challenge for a photographer, and it's something I've been doing regularly for a number of years now.
It's all about being in the right place at the right time and only getting one shot at getting that unique action shot. Getting the perfect amount of motion blur while still get a sharp shot takes practice and a very steady hand, something I'm always working on during my regular trips to my local race track, Brands Hatch.
